A much needed break.

I just wrapped up back-to-back weekends — of back-to-back-to-back shows… 7 Shows in 10 days.

Here’s a Recap…

7/31 - Solo at Timberyard… I had a fun Friday night at my favorite Brewery — Timberyard Brewing Company in East Brookfield MA. There was a pre-wedding party going on, the crowd was feeling the love and the vibes. There were also visitors to town, here enjoying their summer getaways on Lake Lashaway. Those folks took the time to chat and even stuck around a little longer because they enjoyed the music so much. That made me feel good.

Thanks to my pal Marty Lutrell for snapping this picture of me during my solo set at Timberyard!

8/1 - The Band Played at Wood N Tap - in Enfield CT. We loved the vibe of the place and can’t wait to go back!

8/2 - Songwriters in the Round: Showcase and Open Mic at WCUW - Featuring Roger Lavallee, Marcus Cassavant and Scott Anderson. Roger lead a Spectacular discussion on “Making the Most" of your Recording” and we got to sample a half dozen unique local voices in the Open Mic Segment.

Songwriters in the Round Showcase features 3 songwriters who take turns playing songs and telling stories.

Roger Lavallee recently left “Wachusett Recording” to start an independent operation called “Tremolo Lounge” out of his home in Worcester MA.

8/6 - Open Mic Night at Timberyard Brewing Company featuring Brian Dickens. Brian came out to play a fabulous set as our Featured Guest. We also had a full list of other contributors. It was a great time!

Please note: August 20th Open Mic will have a guest host Michael Luke Kelly! I am taking a much needed vacation!

8/7 - Solo at Yummy Asian Cuisine in Palmer Ma. This Asian Fusion joint has a space age vibe a full sushi menu and a wide variety of dishes to try.

8/8 - I finally made it to “Lost Towns Brewing” new location in Ware MA. It was sunny and spacious. Lost Towns shares the building with many other shops. You can see some of the wares on display when you enter the building.

The other shows I played were private gigs. What I call “Parlor Performances”. Where I visit residences, and play unplugged in the living room. There are several group homes for disabled adults I perform for. Usually I make my rounds on Sundays.

I have one more performance planned for the month of August, when I perform with my duo “The Nosy Neighbors” at a 4oth Birthday Bash in Enfield CT. Then I will be taking a nice little vacation with my family.

See you in September!
