Music Friends, Come Join Me at Rocktoberfest!

For weeks now, I’ve been working behind the scenes to help bring Rocktoberfest at Camp Marshall together—connecting with vendors, creating promotional materials, spreading the word, and working with the camp employees to get everything ready.

There’s a lot that goes into an event before the first musician steps up to the microphone! I’ve put so much time and heart into this one, and now I’m inviting my music friends to help bring it to life.

Join me on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at Camp Marshall in Spencer, Massachusetts, for live music, an open mic, local vendors, BBQ, pony rides, and raffles.

Bring Your Music to Our Open Mic

If we’ve met at one of my open mics, shared a stage, or talked about getting together to play, consider this your invitation!

I’d love to see familiar faces on the sign-up list—and welcome new ones, too. Come share a few songs, meet other performers, and help us fill Camp Marshall with music.

Performers on the open-mic sign-up list get free admission. Please invite your friends and family to purchase tickets and come cheer you on. Your performance brings something special to the day, and the people you bring help make the event a success.

Come Hear Mama Kilsmith Play

My band, Mama Kilsmith, will also be performing, and I would love to look out and see some of my music friends in the crowd.

I spend a lot of time hosting, organizing, and helping other musicians share their work. Getting to play with my own band is another part of this musical life that means so much to me—and I’m excited to share it with you at the camp.

So Much Work, So Much Heart

Over the past several weeks, I’ve been reaching out to vendors, following up on applications, working on event details with the camp employees, and putting together the posts and graphics to help get the word out.

I’m excited to see all those conversations and preparations turn into a day we can enjoy together. We’ll have an indoor vendor market, Texas Backyard BBQ, pony rides, beer and wine available for purchase, and raffles—with one sheet of raffle tickets included with admission.

But the part I’m looking forward to most is the people: hearing you play, introducing friends to one another, and sharing the day with the community I’ve gotten to know through music.
